| Trammell Crow shutting down Oklahoma, Tulsa offices Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co., citing the evaporation of credit for new real estate development projects, is shutting down its offices in Oklahoma and Tulsa as part of a national reduction in operations. Trammell Crow’s existing projects in Oklahoma will continue under Shaun W. Frankfurt, an Ada native and longtime executive with Trammell Crow in Oklahoma who is now with the company in Chicago. Frankfurt said Friday that offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa probably would be dark by January. The company only has six employees in Oklahoma. It will be the first time since Dallas real estate developer Trammell Crow himself worked on industrial projects in Oklahoma City in the 1960s that the company that bears his name will see more on NewsOK.com |

| For many Oklahomans, Graffiti Bridge left a mark in memories Built in the 1930s, the Graffiti Bridge was a place where different generations left their mark. For more than five decades the bridge stood over Western Avenue in Oklahoma City.The Robert Symes Trucking & Excavating Co. completed the task of demolishing and hauling off Graffiti Bridge from NW 59 and Western in June 1991. | Mukasey doing better after collapse WASHINGTON — Attorney General Michael Mukasey was hospitalized Thursday after he collapsed during a late-night speech and lost consciousness."Oh, no, no!” people in the audience cried out as Mukasey slumped.The 67-year-old Mukasey, wearing a black tie and tuxedo, was 15 to 20 minutes into an address about terrorism when he began shaking slightly and slurring his words. As he read from his text, he seemed to get stuck on a word, paused, then his head bowed slightly and he swayed. | Man found dead after Mayes County house fire STRANG — An elderly man was found dead after a house fire near this Mayes County town late Thursday, a Tulsa television station reported. The man's name has not been released. He's believed to be in his 70s. Just before midnight, a passerby saw flames coming from the house. When firefighter arrived, the house was fully involved in fire, a fire chief said. The fire doesn't appear to be suspicious, the chief said. The state fire marshal's office is trying to determine a cause. Strang is about 11 miles northeast of Pryor. |
